TIMELINE

01/1980 SCHUMA Schuster Maschinenbau GmbH was founded on January 1, 1980 by Torsten Schuster. Production is initially carried out as third-party production in Weilheim. The name SCHUMA is a short form of Schuster Maschinenbau.

10/1981 SCHUMA exhibits at the “FAKUMA” fair in Friedrichshafen.

09/1984 The company moves to Laichingen.

10/1986 SCHUMA is represented for the first time as an exhibitor at the K-fair in Düsseldorf. Production is being expanded.

05/1988 Torsten Schuster dies and his wife Hedwig Schuster becomes new owner of SCHUMA Schuster Maschinenbau GmbH.

01/1989 An adjoining building is being built and the office space is enlarged.

09/1990 Hedwig Schuster sells SCHUMA. The new owners are Joachim Stadach, Ernst Windmüller and Ursula Windmüller.

10/1990 The name is changed to SCHUMA Maschinenbau GmbH.

02/1998 The office building is being expanded.

07/2006 Joachim Stadach sells his company share. The sons, Jens und Jörg, of Ernst and Ursula Windmüller join the company as a partner.

12/2006 Joachim Stadach retires as managing director from the company on December 31, 2006.

12/2007 The production will be expanded again and a new lounge will be built.

12/2012 Ernst and Ursula Windmüller hand over their shares to the sons Jens and Jörg Windmüller.

10/2015 SCHUMA builds its own distribution.

02/2016 Ernst und Ursula Windmüller leave the company. Jens and Jörg Windmüller are sole partners and managing directors.

03/2016 Daniela Windmüller becomes new officer with statutory authority. The SCHUMA logo is being modernized.

09/2020 The production will be expanded again by around 350 m² and the parking lot will be restructured.
